FALL 2023 JOURNEYGROUPS OPPORTUNITIES:
Mixed Study Groups
Next Steps Class | Monday Nights September 25, October 2, & 9 | 6:30pm (J@SH)
Are you looking to take the next step in your faith journey? We invite you to join us for a 3-week class called “Next Steps” to dive deeper in your faith and
build connection with your Journey family! – Led by Jesse Blasdel
Intercessory Prayer | Tuesday Mornings Beginning September 26 (7 Weeks) | 9-10:30am (Mary Miller’s Home) | $10 Book Fee
As we dive into the Father’s heart we are overwhelmed by His presence, which is the fullness of joy. From this place we begin to see from His perspective. As we see and understand His world we are compelled to intercede. We are now praying and speaking with fresh insight. We see that we no longer have to pray from a place of defense. Instead we pray offensive prayers from His presence. When we speak our petitions and most importantly our declarations into the atmosphere, authority and breakthrough come. From the intimate place with our Father everything is birthed. – Led by Linda Yutzy
Building a Healthy Marriage | Sunday Nights Beginning October 1 (4 Weeks) | 6pm (J@SH)
Your marriage is the most important human relationship you will ever have, so it takes intentional effort for it to thrive. Come learn some key marriage principles and enjoy discussion with other couples who are also discovering God’s best. – Led by Brian & Tammy Yutzy
A Fellowship of Differents | Sunday Mornings Beginning October 1 | 11am (J@SH) | $10 Book Fee
A Fellowship of Differents explores the church as God’s world-changing social experiment of bringing unlikes and differents to the table to share life with one another as a new kind of family, showing the world what love, justice, peace, reconciliation, and life together is designed by God to be. Come join the discussion about how we learn to be the Church that is written about in Scripture and fulfills God’s purpose in the world. – Led by Ken Kauffman
Beautiful Resistance | Wednesday Nights Beginning September 27 (9 Weeks) | 7pm (Dale and Tonya Ferguson’s Home) | $10 Book Fee
In a time of compromise and disillusionment, God is calling his people to a movement of beautiful resistance. In the church, we need new underground movements of discipleship and resistance. Pastor Jon Tyson unveils a revived vision for faithful discipleship—one that dares to renew culture, restore credibility, and replace compromise with conviction. Come join this book study group that will challenge you to follow Jesus more faithfully. – Led by Dale & Tonya Ferguson
Prayer Ministry Equipping & Activation | Monday Nights Beginning October 2 (6 Weeks) | 7pm (J@SH)
If you want to learn how you can be even more effective in sharing the healing presence of Jesus with those around you this class is for you. There will be teaching, discussion and preparation on the core aspects of partnering with Jesus as he brings inner healing in and through us. In community with other participants, there will be opportunity to put into practice the classroom learning so that you can grow in confidence in your role as intercessor and leadership in Jesus Encounter related ministries. There will be times for you to also receive from Jesus. These opportunities will take you deeper in relationship with the Lord, discover what Jesus is saying to you, grow in your identity and purpose, and receive the Lord’s strategy for your life. – Led by Judy Miller

360 Challenge | Starting Beginning of October (6 weeks) | 6:30-8:30pm (J@SH)
$89 Registration Fee (Registration link will be sent to you after signup – cost covers materials, videos, & special dinner)
An exciting opportunity to gain a full perspective on your identity, image and the impact you are making on the world around you, while going deeper with Jesus and learning to hear His voice more clearly. Testimony from Journey member in previous group: “The 360 Challenge dared me to look at myself and see not only how others perceive who I am, but how Christ sees me. It has given me the confidence I have always desired to walk in His steps and step out in faith, knowing that I have the
power of the Holy Spirit in me. I am no longer afraid because He spoke to me during this challenge, saying that I am capable because He has equipped me to live
out my purpose!” – Led by Molly Miller & Melissa Rogers
Moms in Touch | 4th Wednesday of every month | 7pm (Various locations)
This group gathers to offer women support and a place to pray together as they raise their children. Contact Molly Miller with any questions.
Missional Communities
A Missional Community is a spiritual family that follows Jesus into the mission of God. Usually Missional Communities eat together, discuss Scripture or the previous week’s sermon, pray together, and offer care for each other through the ups and downs of life. The goal of these groups is to go deep together and build lasting relationships that challenge us to follow Jesus! If you are interested in a Missional Community, indicate on the form and you will be matched with a group.
